MISSONI ANNOUNCES MISSONI SKY TOWER IN TORONTO

Missoni makes its debut in Toronto with MISSONI SKY, a prestigious residential skyscraper created in collaboration with Amexon Development Corporation, one of the leading real estate companies in the Canadian metropolis. This building
cutting-edge development will fuse the world of high fashion with high-end urban living in Canada’s largest city, setting a new global benchmark for fashion-inspired residential developments.

Inspired by the heritage of the maison, MISSONI SKY aims to redefine luxury living through a masterful combination of artistic expression and modern functionality. The development will highlight Missoni’s signature geometric style, integrating the brand’s iconic zigzag and vibrant color harmonies in every element, from the expansive entrance lobbies and rooftops to the expansive amenities and sophisticated interiors of the exclusive residences.

“MISSONI SKY represents an excellent interpretation of our brand style in an immersive living experience,” said Alberto Caliri, Creative Director of Missoni Home. “This project brings to life the artistic essence of Missoni, infusing every corner of the building with our distinctive approach.”

The design of MISSONI SKY pays homage to the house’s rich artistic heritage, echoing its signature use of vibrant colors, iconic patterns and intricate detailing in furnishings, fabrics and wallpapers. Every space within the skyscraper exudes a modern and unmistakably Missoni feel, creating a harmonious marriage of beauty and functionality. From meticulously curated interiors to spectacular amenities, every element of the building will embody the brand’s heritage and offer residents an environment in which to craft their own legacy through grace and beauty.

To bring this vision to life, Missoni collaborated with design studio II BY IV DESIGN. Known for its innovative approach, II BY IV DESIGN has skillfully translated Missoni’s fashion-forward value system into the palazzo’s interiors. “Working with Missoni has been an incredible journey, allowing us to create living spaces that feel like stepping into a work of art: they are modern, bold and timeless,” said Dan Menchions, Director by II BY IV DESIGN.

Located in King-Jarvis, a design district in downtown Toronto, MISSONI SKY will be a beacon of contemporary architecture. The building’s sleek, modern silhouette emerges from an elegant eight-story brick podium that will house a boutique hotel, restaurants and luxury residential spaces. Rising from the podium is an imposing glass tower that offers a panoramic view
panoramic views of Lake Ontario and beyond. Designed by award-winning CORE Architects, the building “pushes the boundaries of creativity and sets a new standard for urban living in Toronto,” said Deni Poletti, lead architect for CORE Architects.

MISSONI SKY will set a new standard for eco-conscious real estate. In line with Amexon’s Green Development Standard, the building will feature a number of innovative environmental initiatives, including electric vehicle charging stations in every parking space, underscoring Amexon’s commitment to promoting a sustainable luxury lifestyle.
